Arthur Miller’s “The Crucible” returns to the stage at the Walter Kerr Theatre with a star-filled cast. Ben Whishaw, who stars as John Proctor, took time out from rehearsal to be interviewed.

I take it back. I hate the beard but he looks completely perfect in that interview. Boyish, quietly confident and gorgeous.
