the cast is pretty big and at several points they are all onstage together and it’s extremely dramatic and ben is standing somewhere in the back yet all eyes are on him, and he’s not even the one speaking or being spoken to. that’s clearly what ivo meant about his magnetism. he’s mostly an average looking guy and he’s definitely smaller in real life than in the movies, but the combination of charisma and sincerity and dedication to the craft is so powerful that you are instantly drawn to him
