did anyone else notice that even from the sixth or seventh rows of the theater, you could still see how green ben’s eyes were? what the fuck is that? how did that happen? even saoirse’s big blue eyes don’t have that effect. and i don’t mean this only during the scenes when he’s teary-eyed and his eyes glisten… no, they were glistening the whole time, from the moment he steps on for his first scene. incredible. there was such a sincerity in those eyes and it worked wonders for the audience because you root for him so hard.

ugh i hate giving any actor this much praise but… i am just being honest and pointing out key elements observed in two viewings
